I can definitely see how the Dundee Friday night scene could become an addictive routine, especially when MacAllar kicked in his set to add some character to the room. It’s obvious that MacAllar feels that musicians need to please his audience, in a very strong way.

John MacAllar is an excellent musician, singer, songwriter. His unique style of creating music around stories, and folklore about his life, family, his dog, life on P.E.I. is not only mesmerizing, entertaining but makes one feel they are part of his life for the telling. Johns music is appealing to all age groups, young, teens, adults and seniors and he makes his audience feel like they are taking part in his performance. A wonderful talent!
